He is member of the Novartis Env. Sustainability Strategy Leadership Team and representing the company in external partnerships like the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition (SHC) and the Pharmaceutical Env. Group (PEG). With a lifelong passion for environmental sustainability for four decades and a business background in Finance/Controlling he aims to create positive impact by focusing on the win-win opportunities between business and environmental needs.

Originally from Sheffield, he studied microbiology at Huddersfield University before focussing on more commercial scientific roles with a Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma from Staffordshire University. In 2015 he joined Fisher Scientific, specialising in environmental sustainability and sustainable portfolio management, launching the Greener Choice and Trusted Sustainability Partner programs. As environmental sustainability has become a business necessity, he supports their customers and suppliers in their decarbonisation journey, helping to build a low carbon economy in the Life Sciences.

Bioscientist-turned-Sustainability Program Manager at Cytiva, based in the UK. While working in Process Development Services, he spearheaded one of Cytiva's early My Green Lab certifications (to Green level). Now, after joining the global Sustainability team, amongst other things he oversees Cytiva's worldwide program of lab certifications through My Green Lab. His background includes eight years of experience in downstream processing, a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Chemistry.

He is the Project Consultant at Waldner Concepts + Innovations with a background in Biology. More than a decade ago, he began his career in diagnostic and quality control laboratories and subsequently designed over 100,000 square meters of laboratory space across the pharma, life sciences, biotech, and manufacturing industries. Tolga is a LEED Green Associate and a My Green Lab Accredited Professional, passionate about sustainable laboratory practices and optimized lab design to lead innovation in scientific spaces.

She leads sustainability initiatives and helps customers adopt environmentally preferable solutions. With experience in FMCG product sustainability, she specializes in sustainable product development. Addie holds a Ph.D. in Biology (LMU Munich, Germany), an MBA (University of Maastricht, Netherlands), and a B.Sc. in Health Science (SFU, Canada), combining academic expertise with industry experience to drive sustainable innovation in the life sciences sector.
